La Diosa del Sol is a 4-acre villa set on a hillside overlooking Roatan and the Caribbean Sea. Midway down the spine of the island on the North Shore, La Diosa is out of the tourist track, very private, with gardens, infinity pool and private dock and beach. It is the perfect spot to relax, swim, kayak, walk, enjoy a massage, and also to explore the entire island from east to west. Whether you prefer the beautiful, deserted beaches at Camp Bay, or Roatan's spectacular new golf course, or the zip line adventure 15 minutes away, you are close to everything but in your own private estate! It is a wonderful place for a family vacation.

La Diosa's rooms open to large covered porches with panoramic views of the reef and the surrounding tropical forest. The two large master suites have private patios and wonderful views of the Caribbean . Our suites have air conditioning, ceiling fans, and sitting areas. La Diosa also has a guest bedroom, a writers' tower, and two sleeping porches. We have three aerobeds for large parties and the villa can accommodate 8 people with ease.

The three-story villa is surrounded by four acres of private grounds with paths through gardens and tropical trees. Enjoy swimming, kayaking, and snorkeling off our private dock. There are wonderful reef outcroppings close to shore, and divers and snorkelers can also enjoy private diving with Subway WaterSports, which will send a boat to pick you up off the dock to... dive or snorkel on the uncrowded North Shore reef. Or you can relax by the infinity pool, work out in the exercise room, or shoot a game of pool in the poolside game room. For the ultimate in relaxation, take a 5 minute stroll to the nearby spa and enjoy their very affordable 1 hour massages, body wraps, and enticing facials!

The Villa has three ocean kayaks and 160 feet of beach front. Our wonderful bilingual caretaker Elias is on the property 24 hours per day - and if you are in the mood for fresh fish, he can arrange to have the local fishermen bring you their catch of the day! And while the villa is secluded and private, restaurants, shopping, and Roatan's many attractions are not far away. Our guests say that the location is perfect to explore Roatan's many attractions - but then come back to their own private paradise.

La Diosa is an eco-friendly "green" home suitable for asthmatic and environmentally sensitive people, with tile and concrete construction, solar hot water, salt water swimming pool, and battery backup.
