"Gambardella's Italian Restaurant" opened in September, 2009. Gambardella is Janet's maiden name, so it suggested itself when we were thinking about opening a night time restaurant to compliment "The Bakery" which we run during the day.
We offer a New York style Italian Dinner menu. You can rest assured that everything on that menu was prepared and cooked on site in our kitchen. We do not import frozen dinners or pre-cooked foods to reheat and serve as some chain restaurants do, because quality would suffer. We make everything fresh from the best ingredients we can find, as close to the time you place an order as possible. Our meals provide generous quantities, so bring an appetite but leave room for a special "The Bakery" dessert.
Although we're on Roatan, Honduras, we use American rules for cleanliness, meal preparation and service.
